What do you guys think of the new Do They Know It's Christmas Time? cover? Personally, I think, if you haven't heard it (which is so damn unlikely it's not even funny), count yourself blessed.

I totally agree. I never was a fan of the original, but at least the voices worked together. This "new" version sounds more like Christmas Eve down the pub after a few sherries.

I'm all for what they are trying to do, but why oh why release the same song. Couldn't they have done something different and achieved the same result? After all, the orginal gets played to death this time of year anyway.

Well, I hope all on this site have a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year.

I wouldn't say I'm a die-hard fan, but at least the old one was relatively good. BTW, The Register had a really good idea: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/11...d_aid_dilemma/.
