Depends where at in Iraq, it requires a security clearance, so I'm sure its guarded.
But yeah, I would probably give it a go. One thing that has me wondering though, is that "could go shorter". Maybe the place ain't guarded. lol

What I don't understand why they can't have someone develop from a safe place, outside of IRAQ.

People from my company go to Iraq all of the time and come back fine. We even opened up a Gulf Region Division, with districts in Afghanistan and Iraq. It doesn't make any sense to me to require a development position to be located in a war zone. If you are setting up the technology infrastructure, that's a different story. I've tried to deploy with a group of scientists and engineers, but my wife said "hell no".

Lol, You should sneak out one night and stay at a friends house, leaving a note with her saying you went to Iraq.

The wife saying "hell no" wasn't really a factor, missing the smile on my little girl's face was.

Hell yea I'd do it. As long as I'm armed with several weapons. That and I'd need a little bit more info to know I won't be in the warzone so much. It depends on the details. Too bad I don't know crap about AJAX....lol

It would take a few months to get the clearance, if you don't already have it.
If I was qualified I probably would do it in a heartbeat, that kind of money? hell yeah. |
