I'm thinking about buying these

I'm thinking about buying these:

Hanns-G JC-199DPB LCD Monitor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16824254009

Logitech Stereo USB Headset 250
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...mp;sku=L23-7032

Logitech Rumblepad 2 Gamepad with Vibration Feedback
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...mp;sku=L23-6374

Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...ER&v=glance

Before I hit the purchase buttons, has anyone seen a better deal on these or similar product?

I don't know about a better deal, but i personally have the Hanns-G JC-199DPB, and it works for me. I'm not in love with it, and I don't hate it.

http://www.plantronics.com/north_ame...035/prod440042

Not bad, Haven't seen any of it in action so I couldn't say. But going by the comments is usually pretty good. As for the logitech gamepad, I would spring and go for the cordless.

I've tried the game pad and really didn't like it. If you look closely you can see how the frame for the sticks are square, in other words completely inconvenient for games where you need to rotate the stick in circular motions.

I say, go and get the Xbox 360 Wired controller which works on the PC these days.

Stick frames are often square. This may be masked with a skirt over the bezel. This is so that you get full throw on both axes, even on the diagonal, without resorting to complex non-linear interpretations of the sensors. Check out the joystick on a real airplane.

Ahh, but Dawei I was strictly talking about game pads not joysticks. I sure as hell hope the commercial airline pilots I'm flying with today (1PM flight to Montreal) aren't using game pads. :p

I guess it does all depend on what types of games you're playing Komodo.

They're not. They're not using joysticks, either, though. The yoke's on them.

the HannsG is the best deal for an awesome LCD. no ghosting in games, and very nice high res....
SERIOUSLY though, get teh WIDESCREEN for $5 more, no built in speakers which you shouldnt use anyway cause they suck

a better headset can be found easily at about the same price at the egg.

edit: the WIDESCREEN IS LESS $! at 169.99 right now
