I am doing a fingerprint login system in a windows based environment for my final year project in college. I was wondering if anyone had a idea which would be the best computer language to use. Also any other advise to do with this topic would be a help.
Thanks
Andrew

I have seen many C++ and Java implementations of this system before, those would probably be a good starting point.

C++

Some of the finger print scaners are not fool proof. I have seen a guy hack one with a finger print taken froma coffe cup and placed on a black peace of cardboard. Then held it up to the scanner. Worked, but i am sure they have fixed this by now since it was a few years ago.
