Audio Streams

Hello. I am planning to write a website where there will be audio streams going in and going out. What is the best way to handle audio streams in general?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not being the best approach but personally I use Flash for my audio and video streams.

Have you been able to deal with incoming streams with Flash? That is as important to me as the outgoing streams.
