HI everyone, im new in the programming world, i m a real rrokey, i dont know if this is the right place to ask for help, so i ll try.
what i need is to write a program in VB 6.0 that will allow me to get my computer IP, the internet IP, and send it to a specific e-mail address.
i apriciate the help.

This app sounds dodgy - I know what you're trying to do, because I did it myself. And no, I'm not gonna tell you how to get the IP of your mates.

I'm kinda curious to the use of this myself.

So, I'll leave it at this... to get YOUR ip... go to the command-line and type
'ipconfig'

yea if you could come up with a good reason or situtaion that this could be used in i will give you a tutorial that will help you out a lot.
