Hi guys, well i have this problem occured today. I'm making a simple web site using ASP wherein an employee can view all the employees of its contractors...so they are group by their contract numbers. i'm developing it with the web site and the access database file together in one location. now the problem is, when i trasfered the access db file to another server and of course i have to change the connection properties according to the new location, i received an error saying that "The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '\\edha-09135-nf02\acct\bccu\database\mangmang.mdb'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data."

can somebody help how i can get rid of this error.

Before you create an ASP page using MS Access as your RDBMS, you need to know the web host company of your choice, some web host does not allow any data access, or maybe the server is set only to read permission and not read/write permission. Ask your web host support if they allow data connectivity. :rock: If your using your own web server (IIS) to test your page, be sure to configure your IIS security...
