How to embed a web-based PHP project into a Java Program

I am building a program that incorporates project management. instead of building a project management app from the ground up, i wanted to embed an open source program that was already available. The best one I found was docProject which is a PHP web-based project management program. Is there any way to embed a web-based project into java built project.

I would like to be able to open docProject up in a new form when a user clicks on a specific team member. maybe have the new form act as the web browser.

If anyoine has any information on this, please reply.

Thanks

Also, is there any tutorials or information that shows how to embed one program into another program? Any and all information would be appriciated.

Thanks
