To make a new project, you click 'New' and make a new project. To select among projects, you click 'Open', select Projects/Solutions, and select the project. There are also ways to see and select from 'recent' projects. Refer to your help files and invest a couple dozen mouse clicks looking around your environment.

How did you get Gentoo installed if you can't figure out how to open a project in Visual Studio?

Gentoo has a nice step by step guide for installation. I don't think the same can be said for VS.

@OP: I'm assuming you figured out the answer. Otherwise, either add a new project to your sol'n, or if you have multiple projects you can just right click and set one as the active project (IIRC).
