HTML is a client side markup language. It tells the browser how to display the page. That's all. Password validation, database access, and so forth has to be done on the server. There are many languages that can do this server-side work. PHP is one of the most popular, but it all rather depends on what your hosting server supports.

Are you looking for turnkey code?
