Hey!

I need some help with a java programming I'm trying to write. I have to write a program for predictive text. I need to use store all the words from a dictionary in a data structure with the corrosponding key sig [the number the letter relates to on the keypad of a mobile phone]. I thought I would use an ArrayList from java's collection framework and create objects that stores both the word and the corrosponding key numbers. Then use the interface set to store groups on objects with the same key number and store these sets in an ArrayList. This way I can search the ArrayList for a particular number and find the words the set that corrosponds to the number [there will be more than one possible word that could corrospnd to a particular key number e.g 4663 = gone, home, hone, hoof etc].

I'm not even sure if this will work. I hope that my description hasnt confused you.

I would really appriciate any help.

K xx
