StackOverflowError
hi guys,
i'm getting a StackOverflowError in my program. there are too many files so i can't post my code, but i think i'm getting it because of too much file i/o. if you want the files to help me indentify the cause of this error, please pm me ur email so i can send the files to you. thanks |

How about narrowing down the problem a little and then posting the relevant files? We don't even know what your program does.
Stack overflow errors are sometimes caused by too much recursion. If you have a function that calls itself a hundred times or so, it could be overloading the stack. Try making it iterative. |

Yea, usually whenever I get that error it is due to infinite recursion, but I can't really say without looking at your code. Perhaps you could Zip it up and post a link to it here?

thanks for your time guys, but i found the error. i was trying to dispose a JInternalFrame in an internalFrameClosed method. well, anyways, that's all figured out.
