This is a thread I have started from getting the idea off of another topic I was discussing. What do you prefer to play games on: Games consoles, PC, Handhelds etc? and why?

Personally I like two games consoles the Microsoft Xbox and the Nintendo Gamecube.

The xbox because it did not require the purchase of memory cards and other hardware. I have quite a selection of games so the hard drive is a good thing.

The Gamecube for the games that are released the majority are the types of games I like to play.

What about you?

The PC mainly, but I also like my PS2. The Xbox is fun, but way too big and, with the exception of Halo 2, I can't think of a reason to get one. I'm thinking of getting a DS soon.

well to me the pc would have to be my choice mainly because of its customability,and because i prefer a keyboard and mouse over a controller, though with newer systems coming out in the feature im sure there will be more customability with those

I like PCs, mainly for the same reasons fishman does.

i preffere the PC and Playstation 2. But i really preffer a gamepad than a keyboard.

PC seems to be the most favoured choice for gaming here. Why do you find the keyboard and mouse better?

I personally have some difficulty playing games with keyboard so bought a gamepad for my PC.
