I would dare claim I'm an average C++ programmer (still learning of course)...and I didn't learnt entirely from books. C++: A Beginner's Guide & Sams Teach Yourself C++ in 21 days were decent books...

I thought I'd just say hi after stumbling across these forums. I'm 13 this year and in the process of learning C++ and Applescript. I work off an iBook G4...so this is my shoutout to you people.
