yah, you need either apache or IIS. Php is just a language interpreter, you need web server software to actually make a web server. Then you add the php/perl/java/python functionality to it later....

you'll probably want to edit the x config file manually to make sure that everything works as it should and you have the needed resolutions. Also make sure you have the desktop's you want installed....

I checked it out because I've been looking at some of the Visual Web Developer Express online webcasts (which are actually really good). I'd still prefer PHP to ASP.NET, but i'm keeping an open mind....
